PORT ARANSAS RETREET TREE REQUEST PAGE

On Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, RETREET will lead a coalition of volunteer partners in planting native trees, at no cost, for residents of Port Aransas who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The trees we plant for you will be 6 to 9 feet tall, depending on the species. We currently are working with our partners to source the best trees available in your area. In the weeks leading up to the planting, those who request trees will be contacted by RETREET to schedule time for a visit by one of our representatives in order to determine the best planting locations on your property. Texas 811 will mark the utilities at your home before this meeting. On Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, a team of trained volunteers will plant the trees for you. Please see the infographic at the bottom of the page to make sure you have enough room on your property for at least one large tree before submitting a request.
