RETREET FELLOWS

We are currently seeking two fellows for the January-May 2014 planting season.  Fellows will help run our startup nonprofit, make lots of new connections in a stimulating work environment, and greatly assist people rebuilding their communities in the wake of disaster.  An indispensable part of our growing organization, the fellows will be encouraged to maximize their potential input and able to learn lots of new skills.

RETREET FELLOWS
 

 
 
Twice a year, RETREET hires fellows to help run our startup nonprofit, make lots of new connections in a stimulating work environment, and greatly assist people rebuilding their communities in the wake of disaster. An indispensable part of our growing organization, the fellows are encouraged to maximize their potential input and able to learn lots of new skills.
 
 

MEDIA FELLOW
Graphics, web and video, social media, and brand building.  Strong sense of appealing design required.  Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Final Cut is preferred.  You will help create content to share with the RETREET community and draw in new support to our cause.

ENTERPRISE FELLOW
Programming, events, finances, corporate outreach, and administration.  Strong verbal and writing skills required.  Past event management experience, nonprofit work, or a degree in business is a plus.  You will help organize and manage the operation of RETREET.

WHEN YOU APPLY
Each fellow is expected to contribute a minimum of 10 hours a week over two separate days and attend RETREET events whenever able.  At the conclusion of the internship, a $1,500 stipend will be awarded.

Passion for trees, bicycles, and community is a must.

Interviews will take place in Dallas the last two weeks of August and the first two weeks of December each year.
