SUNDAY SHOW & TELL

Have you ever enjoyed a tasty beverage atop a tall tree? That was all the fashion in 1850s Paris, when residents flocked Les Guinguettes de Robinson to drink and dance atop the chestnut trees. An innkeeper in the hamlet of St. Eloi, inspired by the story of Robinson Crusoe, dreamed up the bars, which quickly became a big hit. Time for a revival!
